If you have symptoms or have been in contact with anyone with symptoms of COVID-19
before your arrival, please contact us to amend or cancel your booking.

After your Stay here
If you experience COVID-19 symptoms within 14 days after your visit, please let us know as soon as possible.
NHS Test and Trace: To help trace the spread of COVID-19, we are following government advice to retain your contact details for NHS Scotland Test and Protect. We are required to keep a record of your name, contact telephone number, and your arrival and departure dates. We will safely store this information for 21 days and it may be shared with NHS Test and Protect.

During your stay with us
If you are displaying signs of the coronavirus (COVID-19) virus while staying in overnight accommodation here, you should inform Co-Ordinator/Assistant Co-Ordinator, by phoning 01463 731386 or emailing: office@coachhousekilmuir.org. Please do not leave your bedroom but immediately self-isolate to minimise any risk of transmission. You will need to request a test.

The other guests will be informed of this development.

If you then test positive for Covid 19 during your stay here, all guests and staff will need to request tests too.

If you are confirmed to have Covid 19, you should return home if you reasonably can. You should use private transport but only drive yourself if you can do so safely. You should return to your main residence and continue to follow the government guidance on self-isolation, household isolation and social distancing.
If you cannot reasonably return home (for example because you are not well enough to travel or do not have the means to arrange transport), your circumstances should be discussed with an appropriate health care professional and, if necessary, the local authority.

If you are unable to return home, the Co-Ordinator/Assistant Co-Ordinator will discuss meal and laundry provision with you. During your stay, as a symptomatic guest, you will need to remain in isolation in an ensuite bedroom. You will be asked to clean your own room and strip and change your own bed when clean linen is being provided.

You will be expected to pay the costs of an extended stay in all but exceptional circumstances. This charge will be discussed with the Co-Ordinator. It will be a maximum of 75% of the full board daily rate, once your original booking term has expired. You will need to stay at the Coach House to complete the required self-isolation period, after this you should return to your main residence.

Everyone should follow government guidance on dealing with possible or confirmed coronavirus (COVID-19) infection.
