CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR SEVEN STUDENTS ON COMPLETION

OF  THE TRAINING IN SPIRITUAL DIRECTION COURSE

From July 2009 to May 2010 we ran a  ‘Training in Spiritual Direction’ course here.  This was offered in conjunction with the Epiphany Group, the  network of Ignatian Spiritual Directors in Scotland, and Alison Moody, the EG Course Co-Ordinator joined us as one of the three tutors. There were 12 teaching days, written assignments and individual  trainee director/directee sessions. So -  a lot of hard work, enthusiasm and commitment shown  by participants and tutors.  

2011 A TRAINING RETREAT, TO  DEVELOP GIFTS AND SKILLS APPLICABLE FOR  OFFERING A SHORT IGNATIAN RESIDENTIAL RETREAT

This particular course was offered to follow on from the  Spiritual Direction Course.  There were two blocks of 3 full  residential days.  Participants committed to being a Retreatant on one block and a  Guide on the other,  thus providing experience  for one another. This meant that  all could learn more and feel  supported in this  training retreat setting.  Supervision, input from tutors and group reflection were substantial ingredients.      

IT’S 20 YEARS SINCE THE COACH HOUSE FIRST OPENED ITS DOORS !

So much has happened, so  much to give thanks for and to celebrate together.

We are planning a particular celebration  on the weekend of May 26th and 27th

and hope many of our friends and neighbours will be able to join us.
